Press Conference with Israeli Prime Minister, Netanyahu,
FLORIDA, Prime Minister Netanyahu’s opened his remarks with a glowing appreciation for the importance of the friendship with President of the United States, Donald J. Trump. Quote “I have to say that in addition to we’ve never had a friend, even close a friend as President Trump and the Whitehouse. I think he has been extraordinary in his friendship and support for Israel. His principled position and willingness cut through to the essence of things, and I don’t say that as a compliment.
I just mean it, people have heard me say it behind your back Mr. President.I think we have a partnership a relationship, I think if I can quote you, 2nd to none.
There was a general conception in the Middle East.
America can advance itself in the Middle East if it opens a lot of daylight between it and Israel. President Trump has done the exact opposite.
This has been a very productive meeting and I must say Thank you President Trump.
President Trump, began by saying, “PM Netanyahu has been a wartime prime minister. I guess I am a wartime President in more places than just Israel if you think about it. “
President Trump said: Israel was a big factor, we’re with you, and will continue to be with you, allot of good things are happening in the Middle East, We have Peace in the Middle East and we’re gonna try to keep it that way, I think we will be very successful in keeping it that way. You’ve been a great friend, and I’ve been a great friend to you and Israel.
It was my honor and the award I was given, really surprising and very much appreciated.
Prime Minister Netanyahu said “President Trump has broken so many conventions to the surprise of people, then they figure out oh, well, maybe he was right after all. “
So we decided to break a convention too, or create a new one, that is to award the Israel Prize which in 80 years we’ve never awarded it to a non Israeli, and we’re going to award it this year to President Trump.
He continued: This was announced formally over lunch by our Minister of Education who is responsible for the Israel Prize. It’s going to be awarded to President Donald J. Trump whose tremendous contributions to Israel and the Jewish People.
Prime Minister Netanyahu extended an invitation for the presentation of the award on Israel’s Independence Day. “I have to say this reflects the overwhelming sentiment that Israelis across the spectrum to help Israel and our common battle against terrorists that want to destroy us. That’s an expression of thanks and appreciation.

When ask about Israel pulling back troops before the disarmament of Hamas, President Trump said: They are going to be given a very short amount of time to disarm, we will see how it turns out, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will be in charge of that, from our side and if they don’t disarm, They agreed to disarm and if they don’t it will be hell to pay for them. We don’t want that, we’re not looking for that, they have to disarm within a fairly short period of time.
The questions continued with, will Israel be withdrawing its forces?President Trump replied, That’s a different subject, we will talk about that.
Do you have a message for the Prime Minister about the West Bank ? Are you concerned that the Israeli Settlers violence is undermining the peace plan…. in the West Bank?
President Trump said, We have had a big discussion on the West Bank for a long time and I wouldn’t say we agree on the West Bank 100 percent but we, we will come to a conclusion on the West Bank. The reporter piped up…What is the disagreement…
President Trump gave a look, that was written on his face, I don’t want to do that… that would be announced at the appropriate time. He will do the right thing, referring to PM, Netanyahu, I know him very well and he will do the right thing.
Questions came up about Israel’s relationship with Turkey’s President Erdogan. Due to negative comments on the Internet.
President Trump replied honestly. He is a good friend of mine and Bibi’s. We’re not gonna have a problem, he has done a fantastic job, I am with him 100 percent, I am with Bibi, 100 percent. Nothing is going to happen.
Reporters continued to press on Israel….Are you concerned Israel is not moving quickly enough to phase two of the Peace Plan?
President Trump said, he wasn’t concerned with what Israel is doing, I am concerned with what other people are or aren’t doing. I am not concerned, they have lived up to the plan. They are strong, they are solid, and some people don’t understand when they violate something you want to give them a second chance, will give them a couple second chances, but no, Israel has lived up to the plan 100 percent.
Don’t forget that we made the plan possible by taking out Iran. And speaking of Iran, I hear they want to build up again, if they are, we will have no choice but to very quickly eradicate that build up. I keep reading that they are building up weapons and other things. If they are, they are not using the sites we obliterated. They are using possibly different sites and we know exactly where they are going and what they are doing and I hope they are not doing it, because we don’t want to waste the fuel on a B2. It’s a 37 hour trip, both ways, I don’t want to waste the fuel, that’s a lot of fuel. OK,
When asked about a Pardon for Bibi,
President Trump said: I think he’s going to be in great shape, he is a War Time Prime Minister at the highest level, he’s achieved tremendous success. I’ll say it, if you had 8 out of 10 prime ministers in his position right now, or before right now, you wouldn’t have Israel any longer, Israel would not exist. I’d say two of them would and eight of them wouldn’t. Those are not good odds.
You needed a special man to carry through and really help Israel through this horrible jam. These are major factions and it started with our negotiations on Iran, I think it started with Solomani, bad guy doing bad things, hurting a lot of people killing American Soldiers and other soldiers, but that’s where that started, you have a war time Prime Minister at the Highest level. There could be other war time prime ministers but they would lose, he won, I think the people of Israel appreciate it. I think a lot of people in the world appreciate it, and because of that victory we were able to get Peace in the Middle East.
If you had a different person with a different personality, if you had a weak person, or a stupid person and there are plenty of both of them, then you wouldn’t have success and you report for Israel and I know you are very proud of it and you do a great job, but you might not have a job because there might not be an Israel right now if you had a different prime minister.
That’s a big statement but to me, it’s a very simple statement.
It’s a love, hate for him over there, even the haters, have a lot of respect for him. There’s a lot of Jealousy, Jealousy about him, Jealousy is a bad word. I believe You wouldn’t have Israel right now.
Reporter: According to a recent poll, Half the Gazans said they would leave if afforded to do so.
President Trump answered, I have said that, we will see if the opportunity affords itself. We’re helping Gaza so is Israel by the way. I saw that more than half. We will see what happens.
Reporter: Have you reached a point of understanding regarding Syria ?
President Trump said, The new President of Syria is not perfect but he is a strong man and has been with us all the way, and I am going to try and make it so they do get along…. (facilitate that relationship) between Israel and Syria.
PM Netanyahu stepped up to the mic and began to speak, “Our interest is to have a peaceful border with Syria, Our interest is to and we openly say it the border area next tour border, is safe we don’t have terrorists, we don’t have attacks. We want to secure our Druze and friends and I think not only the Druze but other minorities like the Christians should be protected in Syria and throughout the Middle East, and in Nigeria, your efforts referencing President Trump, and we back your efforts completely, because Christian Communities around the world are beleaguered around the world but especially in the Middle East and parts of Africa too. We stand for the same thing.
President Trump reiterating “Don’t forget it President Erdogan, of Turkey, who helped get rid of a very bad ruler from Syria, that was President Erdogan, he got rid of some very bad people from Syria, and he don’t want the credit, but he should get good credit, we give him credit. They tried to get rid of this for a thousand years by other names, but President Erdogan did it. He deserves the credit, I think it’s going to work out well with Israel and Syria.
President Trump, when asked about Hezbollah, he replied, the Lebanese Government is at a lil bit of a disadvantage when it comes to Hezbollah, when you think of it, has been behaving very bad so we will see what happens.
Back to Iran, President Trumps said, we know they’ve been behaving badly if it’s confirmed, consequences will be very powerful, maybe more powerful than the last time. Iran should have made a deal last time, I told them you can make a deal, do it. They didn’t believe me, now they believe me. If they are building up, there no reason for them to do that.
A follow up question…..Is the US currently engaged in bilateral talks with Tehran, will you welcome that ?
President Trump replied, yes, even-before the war, I said to them, I wanted to negotiate they didn’t believe what was going to happen.
Are you concerned with China’s Military Exercises surrounding Taiwan.
President Trump said he was great friends with President Xi, and he hasn’t said anything about doing it, I’ve certainly seen it, but he hasn’t said anything.
The reporter ask, does it worry you? Like a Boss, President Trump didn’t miss a beat….No, nothing worries me…
You said earlier, where’s there’s smoke there’s fire…
President Trump replied, They’ve been doing naval exercises in that area, for 20, 25 years even bigger.
What happens if Hamas doesn’t disarm…
President Trump stated, It would be horrible, horrible, by the way you can’t blame Israel. We have other countries that say they will come in and make them disarm. Those countries that were with them that wanted peace, if Hamas doesn’t disarm, those same countries are going to come in and wipe them out.
We have 59 countries this is real Peace in the Middle East , Hamas is still a part of it a small part of it… We have 59 countries that signed on big countries that are outside the Middle East , as you know, They want to go in and Wipe out Hamas, They don’t want Israel, They don’t need Israel. They want to do this cause it’s the right thing to do, They were for the deal, based on the deal, that Hamas pledged to disarm, now Hamas swore to disarm, and if they don’t those same countries will go in and wipe out Hamas.
Will the Abraham Accords be Expanded?
President Trump, Proudly and Boldly Stated …..One of the Greatest Achievements, they will be Expanded, Countries are already talking about expanding it. They will be expanded fairly quickly.
When ask about Saudi Arabia and the Abraham Accords, President Trump said, that Saudi Arabia is great, we have a great leader, Saudi Arabia has done everything we could ask for. They are getting along with Israel and at some point they will sign the Abraham Accords.
Have you determined a new pick for Federal Reserve Chairman,
President Trump unapologetically stated: We have a fool at the Federal Reserve, Biden reappointed him, he is a fool, He is doing a renovation at a building 4. 1 billion for two small buildings. The Ballroom is larger and at a fraction of the cost, under budget and ahead of schedule. They’ve wanted it for 150 years, think of it two buildings, we’re thinking about bringing a lawsuit against Powell for incompetence, it’s the highest price construction per square foot in the History of the World, We’re thinking about bringing a lawsuit for gross incompetence.
Reporter’s follow up question…When will you give names of those to take his place?
President Trump said: January. He should resign, I’d love to fire him, I still might.
